It is so sandy and would be perfect in the summer. It stretches as far as the eye can see. It rivals Wasaga in Ontario. It was nice for a long stroll along. Even in the rain and storm, it was beautiful to see the crashing waves and to walk along it. A must see if you are in the Halifax area.

A part of the Nova Scotia Coastal Heritage Park System, Conrad's Beach is a jewel. The system is made up of three beach's - Lawrencetown Beach, Stoney Beach, and Conrad's Beach. Most of the beaches around are made up of rocks and cobblestones. But Conrad's is one of the nicest sand beaches around. There still are cobbles to navigate in some.

GPS Coordinates: N44 o 38.701′ W63 o 22.546′ From Dartmouth, head east on Cole Harbour Rd which turns into Lawrencetown Rd. Once you past West Lawrencetown keep your eyes open for Conrad Rd. on the right (south) side.
