Modern Takes on Classic Petiscos at Taberna Sal Grosso Culinary Backstreets
Taberna Sal Grosso is a modern taberna located in the alfama district serving petiscos, or small plates. The food was delicious! We tried the baby fried squid, beef tartare, octopus rice, and the pork cheeks with mashed sweet potatoes. Standouts were the beef tartare and the octopus rice. I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu.
